Goodrich – Due to possible school calendar changes, a jazz workshop has been rescheduled.
‘Fine Arts: A Mainstream in Education? (FAME)’a fine arts advocacy group working with the Goodrich school district planning educational art and music events from around the globe’presents Chris Collins, Jazz from the Shamrock Shore beginning April 7.
Collins will coordinate a residency, teaching jazz history in GHS history classes; working with high school, jazz, and concert bands; and offering free private lessons for GHS and GMS students. A free community master improvisational class will also be offered.
