State Rep. Jim Tedder visited with third grade students at Independence Elementary, Jan. 11.
The third graders focus their Social Studies learning on Michigan, geography, history, government, etc., and have been working on exploring cities throughout our state, said Dennis Klenow Ed.S., Third/Fourth Grade Educaton at Independence Elementary.
“Jim will be bringing maps out to the school for each third grade student as well as explaining his job at the state level and answering question from our students,” Klenow said.
