The Great Lakes ACE presented a check for $3,006.02 to Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County’s Executive Director Tim Ruggles, Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce President Peg Roth, Independence Township Trustee Ron Ritchie, and My Habitat Clarkston Steering Committee Members Janelle Best and Julie Nemeth.
Staff from Great Lakes ACE Hardware on Sashabaw Road collected donations and contributed a portion of proceeds from their Santa and reindeer pictures over the holidays to Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County’s Independence Township’s home refurbishment near Sashabaw Middle School.
“Thank you Great Lakes ACE staff for your support of the work of My Habitat Clarkston,” Nemeth said at the Jan. 14 check presentation.
The family will be closing on the home near the end of the month.
