Three lucky local shoppers will be spending a lot more time in downtown Oxford using gift certificates they won in the DDA’s ?12 Stores of Christmas? contest.
Congratulations to winners Robin DiMeglio, Marilyn Dick and Liz Brubaker, all of Oxford.
The trio won gift certificates to the Oxford 7 Theater, JonMarx Steak & Seafood, Rob’s Place, Villa de Goochi Salon, Jet’s Pizza, ReGina Paul Salon and Sisters Hair Care.
‘I shop down there as much as I possibly can,? DiMeglio said. ‘I try to support local businesses.?
DiMeglio said the DDA-sponsored holiday contest, which promoted a different group of 12 local businesses every week, encouraged her and her family to shop downtown.
‘We went to every single store every week,? DiMeglio said. ‘Our whole family was involved. We had it posted on our refrigerator, which stores to hit each week.?
‘I had a blast with this. I hope they do that again,? she added.
