Lake Orion High School’s Varsity Cheer team came out strong as they hosted the Michigan High School Athletic Association Competitive Cheer district tournament at the Field House Saturday.
The girls took second place among 13 teams, scoring 791.5568 points overall. As top-four finishers, the team earned a spot at this weekend’s MHSAA Regional Competition.
Rochester Hills Rochester finished in first place Saturday, with 797.7480 points; Troy was third with 780.2128, and Rochester Hills Stoney Creek grabbed the number four spot with 774.4328.
