High school thespians take center stage this weekend

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Nov. 15-17), Lake Orion High School Thespian Society Troupe #2898 will present Flowers for Algernon, based on Daniel Keyes famous novel. The show will be held all three days at 7:30 p.m. in the Lake Orion High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5 for students/seniors and $7 for adults.

Two current members of Lake Orion’s Planning Commission, Dikka Bervan and Collin Brunckhorst, are returning to the board for a new three year term. Patricia Kartje, who ran for the village council, in March, was appointed to fill a PC vacancy that occurred when Chuck Viers resigned. Her term ends April 30, 2006.
