The 2016 3rd Annual Wildwood Film Challenge and Festival, sponsored by Orion Neighborhood Televeision (ONTV), had 11 teams participate and create short films in only four days.
Each film entered was required to include components that were revealed to the teams at the Festival kickoff on Oct. 21. The components were: a playground, a pet of their choice and a random line of dialogue provided by ONTV.
Prior to the public viewing of the films, the judges viewed the films and chose the top three short films in the adult and youth categories.
All 11 short films were then screened at the Goodrich Oxford 7 Theater on Oct. 26 and awards were given to the respective teams.
About 100 people attended the event and over $200 was raised to benefit the Lake Orion High School SOS Program (Students Offering Support).
The winners were:
1st Place – Adult: “Help Me Tech Support” by Unreasonable Productions ($150)
2nd Place – Adult: “The Boy Who Could Read Minds” by Baked Goods Studios ($75)
3rd Place – Adult: “Baking Soda & Vinegar” by Team K. Jay ($50)
1st Place – Youth: “The Imaginary Friend” by A.M.A. Productions (Bowling Party at Classic Lanes)
