Ortonville Chamber Business Expo 2010

The small business marketplace is anything but small.
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy, there are an estimated 29.6 million small businesses in the United States employing more than half of the country’s private sector workforce, hiring 40 percent of high tech workers and include 52 percent home-based businesses.
Locally, a multitude of diverse businesses that drive the area economy will gather from 5 to 8 p.m., May 6 for the 9th Annual Ortonville Chamber of Commerce Business Expo at Brandon High School Cafeteria, 1025 S. Ortonville Road.
Led by Chamber Vice-President Lisa Dwyer, the expo planning team anticipates the event will spark business connections, help promote the growth of area companies and enhance the economic climate of the Ortonville community.
‘The public is welcome to stop by and check out the variety of outstanding businesses right here in the area,? said Dwyer.

Planning for the expo is nearly complete, and several hundred patrons are expected to attend the event from 5 to 8 p.m., May 6.
