October is when otherwise respectable members of the community think up creative ways to scare their friends and neighbors, devising the creepiest costumes and innovatively sadistic sets they can possible come up with.
In the Clarkston area, that includes Haunted Fountains at Fountains Golf and Banquet Center on Maybee Road, and Terror of Townsend Forest, at Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club on Waterford Road.
Both run Friday and Saturday evenings through October.
