Downtown Lake Orion is now home to Limelight Salon. The 13-year-old, full-service salon used to be located on Clarkston Road, but they picked up their staff and clients and headed to the village April 4.
‘We were ready for a change,? said Shellie Anger, of Limelight. ‘We were forced to make a move and said if we’re going to move, we want something completely different.?
Manned by Anger, Tara Bruce, Cori Martin and Paige Santamour, the salon offers the latest styles in cutting and coloring hair, according to Bruce, as well as facial waxing.
‘We have experience,? said Anger. ‘We’re educated to be up-to-date on the lastest cut and color techniques. We have competative pricing with outstanding creativity.?
So far, Limelight is enjoying its new spot downtown.
‘It’s been a really good experience,? Bruce said.
And their clients seem to be equally pleased. Long-time customer Coleen Brunni said she sticks with Limelight because of its low prices and customer service.
‘They listen to customers,? Brunni said. ‘They don’t force you into something and there’s definitely satisfaction in that.? She laughingly added that stylists won’t let her do anything too crazy, either.
