RE: RFP for the Construction Engineering/Inspection of the NW (Cost Center One) and SW (Cost Center Two) Parking Lot projects in downtown Oxford, MI.
The Oxford Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is soliciting proposals for engineering services for the NW and SW Parking Lot projects currently in the bidding stages. Sealed proposals should be submitted to the Oxford DDA at 22 W. Burdick Street, P.O. Box 489, Oxford, MI 48371 on or before Friday, September 19, 2008 by 12 noon (local time). Proposals will be publicly opened and read immediately. Discussion will be held and the bid awarded at the next DDA Board meeting which will be on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, 6:30pm. This meeting is open to the public and those submitting bids are welcome to attend.
Advertisement for Bids as well spec sheets indicating estimated quantities for each project are available at the DDA Office. These projects are both scheduled to begin on October 1, 2008 with the Substantial completion date set at November 7, 2008 and the Final completion date set at November 14, 2008 (for both).
Your proposal is to include all the costs you expect could be incurred with a breakdown of the estimated work hours; staking and materials testing and full time Construction Observation. The estimated work hours should include meetings and interfacing with the DDA and utility companies. In addition, provide your experience, staffing, references and your fee schedule.
