ADULT PROGRAMS
Poetry Reading
Wednesday, July 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Margo LaGattuta’s creative writing class will host a Poetry Reading and Open Mic. Please join us, this event is open to the public.

Community crime prevention
Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m.
Come hear Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard speak about community crime prevention and identity theft. Protect yourself and your family from common scams and mistakes that could cost you money and ruin your credit. The sheriff will be available to answer some of your questions as well.

TEEN PROGRAMS
Capture the flag
Friday, July 11 from 7-9 p.m.
A new twist on an old game! Two planets battle for the flags. You can shoot your enemies with water guns to ‘stun? them and put them in jail. Bring your own water guns.

Tie Dye
Saturday, July 19 at 1 p.m.
A summer tradition at the library. Join us for the TAB meeting and bring some-thing to dye. We’ll provide all the supplies.

Babysitting workshop
Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Learn how to become a great babysitter at our Red Cross certified class.’Topics covered will be emergency preparation, activity planning and more. The cost is $40.00 per student and the participant limit for the class will be 25. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. Refrigeration will be provided.

Get Your Game On!
Wednesdays through Aug. 20 from 1-4 p.m.
Got nothing to do when there’s no school? Come to the library to play games. We’ll have board games, card games, computer games, and maybe some DDR and Guitar Hero. Meet some new friends and have some snacks.
