Kirk Falvay, Attorney longtime Ortonville resident who specializes in estate planning and real estate matters

Area residents requiring sound legal advice have a local resource well established in Ortonville.
Last year the law offices of Kirk D. Falvay, P.C. moved to a new location 875 S. Ortonville Road (next to McDonalds). Falvay has operated his own legal practice for more than 35 years, and has lived in Ortonville since 1977. He also maintains a second office in Bloomfield Hills and recently added attorneys Kari Marcus and Trevor Weston to his law office.
Falvay holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami (Ohio) University and a law degree from Indiana University and gears his practice toward individuals, small business owners’specializing in estate planning and real estate matters.

‘We plan family estates in such a way as to avoid conflicts in the future. Through the years we’ve had many family pleased with the manner the family estate has been settled.?
Falvay also has plenty of experience dealing with clients who are looking to start their own businesses.
‘We’ve assisted many individuals in setting up corporations and limited liability companies in starting their businesses, which has allowed them to protect their personal assets.?
He said building a reputation in a community is achieved only after many years of providing service.
In addition to his law practice, Falvay is involved with many other endeavors. He participates in the American Association of Retired People’s (AARP) Lawyer Referral Program, and is a member of Wealth Counsel, a national estate planning attorney network.
Falvay is one of only 100 attorneys in Michigan who have been designated among the Outstanding Attorneys of America. He is the past president of the Ortonville Chapter of Local business Network, an organization of local business owners.
He has formed professional business relationships with local owners of businesses who provide financial, accounting and insurance services, and worked with them as a team to enhance his services to his clients.
In his spare time, Falvay enjoys golf and is a member of the Davison Country Club.
