The Brandon Blackhawks football team evened its record on Aug. 30 with a 27-22 win over Holly at Brandon High School. The Blackhawks are now 1-1, after dropping the season opener 26-20 on the road in Linden. The next home game will be against Essex High School at 7 p.m., Sept. 14.
