Dana Spear and Kristen Limback, members of the Lake Orion High School forensics team, each earned first place finishes March 19 at Birmingham Groves High School. Spear was first in Informational 9/10, while Limback was first in Informational Open. Other Lake Orion finishers were: Matt Hood, seventh place, Storytelling; Julie Sabo, eighth place, Prose; Stephanie Alspach/Katie Valko, ninth place, Duo 9/10; Linsday Slavick, 10th place, Oratory; and Mallory Malloy, 13th place, Sales.
