On Jan. 22, even as close to a foot of snow covered the metro area, the Clarkston pom pon team competed in the 14th annual Pom/Dance Championships held at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Wolves took 10th out of 21 large squad varsiry teams.
‘Overall (the girls) had fun, We were hoping to place higher than last year (10th place),? said Clarkston Coach Erin Przybylski. ‘At least one of our biggest rivals, Henry Ford II, finished lower than us.?
The pom pon team is comprised of: Tracy Churay, Marina Dabrowski, Natalee McGinnis, Alayna Skipton, Racheal St. Peter, Renee Flores, Megan Robinson, Mandy Suddeth, Katie Houston, Katie Morse, Kathryn Emerick, Meredith Clark, Chelsea Conley, Chloe Ronk, Brittany Ward, Andrea Wingett, Allison Wright, Betsy Varnau and Allison Facciolla.
