Local photographers have a ‘shot? at winning some cash.
The Orion Art Center is hosting ‘The World Around Us? Photography show with $500 in prize money offered.
Drop off dates are Thursday, July 24, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., July 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Photographers can enter up to three (3) framed pieces, measuring 8? by 10? or larger, for the cost of $35 ($25 for Orion Art Center members).
Cash prizes will be awarded on Monday, August 4, at the Orion Art Center at 7 p.m.
The photography show will be on display from July 30 through August 30, and then travel to the Orion Township Public Library for an additional month of exposure.
