Volcanos were erupting all over the Oxford Public Library Monday afternoon.
No, the gods weren’t angry.
It was all part of the library’s week-long Hawaiian Spring Break for Oxford students in grades K-5.
Using Crayola Model Magic, the kids molded their own miniature volcanos on pie tins, then colored them with markers.
A fizzy mixture of baking soda and vinegar was used to simulate erupting lava.
