Two Oxford teams battled it out Monday evening for first place in the North Oakland Big League. The Oxford Wildcats defeated the Oxford Outlaws 6-2 in seven innings of play. Both teams were undefeated going into the game.
A recreational baseball program for boys age 15-18, the North Oakland Big League consists of five Orion teams, three Clarkston teams and two squads from Oxford. League members play a 12-game season.
