Planning Commission Public Hearing Notice
A public hearing will be held July 7, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at Rowland Hall, 23 E. Elmwood, Leonard, MI. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comment on the zoning ordinance amendments and proposed park ordinance described below. A full copy is available at the clerk’s office.
1. Amend Ordinance # 19, Section 8.01 to add a Park and Recreation District.
2. Add article 14B, Park and Recreation District to establish a purpose, permitted uses, area requirements and procedures for site plan review and environmental impact studies.
3. Consider rezoning parcel #05-11-303-010 (proposed Village Park) from R-1, Single Family residential to P, Park and Recreation District.
