An 18-year-old Oxford pedestrian was rushed to the hospital Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle on W. Drahner Rd., just east of Newman Rd.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, Kristian Brodnax-Hill was walking along Drahner near the center of the road when he was struck by a 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by an 18-year-old Lake Orion woman.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. in an area with no street lights.
Brodnax-Hill was transported to POH Medical Center in Pontiac where he was listed in serious, but stable condition at the time.
The Lake Orion driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
Alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the accident, according to police.
The OCSD Crash Scene Reconstruction Unit is investigating the accident.
