Gun, cash, jewelry stolen from Addison home

A 68-year-old Addison man returned to his home on Ray Road late Sunday afternoon and discovered he was missing between $1,700 and $2,450 in cash and personal items including a handgun.
When he arrived home, he found a gray two-door car pulling out of his driveway.
When the homeowner stopped the car, the driver, a white dark-skinned male approximately 21-24 years old, told him, ‘We got lost. Where is M-24??
After the strange car left, the homeowner discovered someone had broken into his residence by throwing a rock through a glass door.
The burglar(s) stole $1,000 in cash, a gold ring valued at $750-$1,000, two silver bracelets worth $250, four watches valued at $500-$1,000 and a two-shot Derringer pistol with pearl handle worth $200.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the robbery.
