The Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a new executive director following Jennifer Duncan’s resignation this week.
‘Her last day was today,? said Chamber President Christine Stephens on Tuesday.
Why Duncan, who worked for the chamber for nearly 10 years, resigned was not disclosed.
‘I’d leave that to Jennifer,? Stephens said. ‘I’m not really at liberty to comment on personnel issues.?
Duncan could not be reached for comment.
In conjunction with her resignation from the chamber, Duncan also quit her position as an ex officio member of the Oxford Downtown Development Authority board.
With regards to finding a new executive director, Stephens said, ‘We have a personnel committee and they will be (conducting) a search.?
