Cycle crash sends Oxford rider, 66, to hospital

A 66-year-old Oxford man took a trip to the hospital Monday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle near the intersection of M-24 and Drahner Rd.
The man lost control of his 2003 Suzuki bike and crashed to the ground after a 2008 Chevy, driven by a 22-year-old Canton man, came into his lane while making a left-turn into the driveway of a business along M-24.
The Canton man was ticketed for failing to yield.
The Oxford man, who was wearing a helmet, was conscious at the scene and transported to McLaren Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac.
