At Monday’s meeting, the Orion Township Board set hours for trick or treating for Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. in Orion Township. These hours coincide with hours set by the Village Council at an earlier council meeting.

Ranville to serve on Cable Commission

At last week’s village council meeting, council member John Ranville was selected as one of two village council representatives to serve on the Orion Community Cable Communications Commission (OCCC). He will join President Pro Tem Dave Churchill, who was selected at a previous meeting, on the board. Their cable commission terms expire Sept. 30, 2009.

Markers to be placed around historical district
