Camp Invention is cool!

School is out, but apparently one group of youngsters wasn’t done learning for the summer. Forty-six inquisitive children, ranging from first through sixth-graders, attended Camp Invention last week held at Clear Lake Elementary School. During the week-long enrichment program, participants learned valuable problem-solving and teamwork skills, while enhancing their knowledge of science and math.

In Oxford, Republican incumbent George W. Bush routed Democratic challenger John Kerry 6,152 to 3,577. Addison voters chose Bush over Kerry by a margin of 2,406 to 1,113 votes.
