Twenty-five kids and adults spent Saturday afternoon racing toy cars they built from blocks of wood as part of the Pinewood Derby race held at the Oxford Free Methodist Church (790 S. Lapeer Rd.).
The contestants raced for red and blue ribbons, and were allowed to race as many times as they wanted and whomever they wished. A good time was definitely had by all at this fun, family event.
