Broken hearts at Breslin

Heartbreak hung on each and every face as the Wolves headed to the locker room after a difficult 58-44 loss against Kalamazoo Central in the MHSAA Boys Basketball Semifinals at the Breslin Center in Lansing Friday.
It was painful, and they were hurting.
But fans’from friends and fellow students to parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, school administrators, members of the Clarkston community and others’were proud.
They were proud of the way the boys played on the court Friday, and proud of the long, winning season; a season that not only gave Coach Dan Fife a chance to take his Wolves to Lansing, but also drew a close-knit community even tighter together. And that’s what it’s all about.
Congratulations, guys; here at The Clarkston News, we’ve loved watching you play this season, and you can bet we’re proud of you, too.
