Even though it was a week late, the annual Easter Bunny Bonanza didn’t disappoint. A total of 240 kids and their parents descended on Seymour Lake Township Park Saturday afternoon to run around the field, collecting colored eggs and Ping-Pong balls.
The Oxford Twp. Parks and Recreation-sponsored event was originally scheduled for April 7 ? the day before Easter. Cold and snowy weather led to its postponement.
All the kids smiled, pointed and waved as a helicopter dumped not one, but two full loads of Ping-Pong balls onto the grassy field below.
After the kids collected all the eggs and balls, each child received a colorful Easter basket full of candy and other goodies.
