Support Danielle Bresett for Lake Orion school board

I am writing to support Lake Orion school board trustee candidate Danielle Bresett.

Though Danielle and I are both LOHS graduates from the nineties, we did not meet until both of our sons were attending kindergarten at Blanche Sims Elementary.

It was very evident very quickly Danielle’s dedication and love for education. Whether it was the school fair, movie night, Fund Run or Field Days, Danielle was not only there supporting her son, she was volunteering at these events to help make them successful for all students, in addition all of the hours she volunteered in the classroom.

Danielle not only is an active volunteer at school events, she is throughout our community as well. She attends events supporting organizations such as Blessings in a Backpack Trivia Night, Orion Art Center’s Dragon on the Lake events, The Daisy Project-MI, and more.

As a founding board member of The Daisy Project-MI, I saw Danielle not only in attendance at our fundraising events, but always volunteering as well. She became an integral part in our annual LO Palooza fundraiser and we are proud that she has joined our team and is an active board member in our nonprofit organization.

Her passion, hard work, and attention to detail has been essential to our operations. I witnessed firsthand her ability to work cost effectively within budgets, deal with logistics and streamline processes to achieve goals.

I believe that with her experience with The Daisy Project she has firsthand insight from special needs families in our community and in turn will be a great voice for special education needs.

With this involvement with The Daisy Project-MI, in addition to her own personal education achievements and her professional credentials as a teacher, and now the unique experience as a private tutor in neighboring districts, I truly believe Danielle Bresett will be an amazing asset to Lake Orion Board of Education and will always strive for what is best for the district as a whole, encompassing all students, staff and community.
