Fifth grade students at St. Joseph Catholic School took time in January to make blankets for Farmington Hills-based organization, Fleece & Thank You.

Fleece & Thank You collects blankets and distributes them to children around Michigan who are battling illnesses.

Each blanket includes a video of well-wishes and support from the students who made the blankets.

According to Fleece & Thank You, there is an average of 30,000 children every year who endure hospital treatments in Michigan. Their goal is to reach each child and make/distribute 30,000 blankets each year. — M.K.
