Senior of the Week — Kennedi Crismon

Parents: Staci Crismon
Grade: 12
GPA: 4.0
Favorite subject(s): OSTC Health Sciences
Extracurricular activities: Going to the gym, spending time with my friends and family, playing sports.
Hobbies/Interests: Working out, baseball/softball, babysitting.
Plans after graduation: Attend OCC to fulfill my pre-requisite classes, then Oakland University to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I would like to go through an NP (Nurse Practitioner) program near where I want to settle and live, then become an NP in a Children’s Hospital or an Obstetricians office.
Kennedi is proudest of: My curricular accomplishments, maintaining excellent grades, being a part of National Honor Society, being an active member of Health Occupations Students of America.
Kennedi makes a contribution by: I do my best to remain positive, even throughout my own difficult times. I am also a nanny outside of school, so I do my absolute best to make an impact on kids of all ages and make sure that they have someone to talk to, because I know how it feels to not have someone to talk and relate to. I do this so that I can (hopefully) kickstart a more positive, honest, generous generation of children.
Where Kennedi sees herself in 10-20 years: I hope to have built a beautiful ranch, and to start a family. In seven years, I will be done with my Masters (NP) program, and I hope most of all that I am successful and love my drive, no matter how much money I make.
What concerns Kennedi in the world: Child endangerment/ sex trafficking.
Favorite thing about Lake Orion High School: The support that some staff provide to students (Ms. Dunn and Ms. Everitt), the opportunities for every single person here.
Recommending Teacher: Rosa Everitt
