The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:
AB-2016-30, Greg Worgess/Amanda Charles, 125 N. Newman Road, Sidwell #09-04-152-003
The petitioner is requesting two variances from Zoning Ordinance No. 78, Article XXVII, Section 27.02, A, 8, 1 to Up to ½ acre:
1. Total Maximum Floor Area of All Accessory Buildings, requesting: a 451 sq. ft. variance above the allowed 1,150 sq. ft. maximum, to build a 1,169 sq. ft. attached garage addition to the existing 580 sq. ft. attached building (148 sq. ft. of which is being converted to living space) for a total accessory building square footage of 1,601.
2. Maximum Floor Area of Attached Accessory Buildings: requesting an 8% variance above the allowed 75% of the principal structure to build a garage addition resulting in 83% of the principal structure.

A complete copy of the proposed ZBA application is on file in the Planning & Zoning Department and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the date of the public hearing.
