The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:
AB-2016-24 Andrew Sester, 736 King Circle, Sidwell #09-10-278-018
The petitioner is requesting five variances from Zoning Ordinance No. 78:
„h Article VI, Section 6.07, R-3, requesting: a 23.4 ft. variance from the required 35 ft. rear yard setback to build a house 11.6 ft. from the rear property line (lakeside), a 4.5 ft. variance from the required 10 ft. side yard setback to build a house 5.5 ft. from the side property line (east), a 1 ft. variance over the allowed 30 ft. height of structures to build a house 31 ft. high, and an 8.9% variance above the allowed 25% maximum lot coverage resulting in 33.9% lot coverage.
„h Article XXVII, Section 27.17, B, requesting: a 13.4 ft. variance from the required 25 ft. wetland setback to build a house 11.6 ft. from the water’s edge.
You may send correspondence regarding this case to the Orion Township Hall, addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals, or you may attend the public hearing to express your views and/or concerns.
A complete copy of the proposed ZBA application is on file in the Planning & Zoning Department and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the date of the public hearing.
