The village council accepted a bid last week from NTH Consultants to complete the bi-annual bridge inspections of the Bellevue Bridge and the Perry Street Bridge.
State law required the village to have all bridges that span 20 or more feet inspected every two years.
The bid from NTH was $1,350, which was $450 lower than the only other bid. Contract language was approved by the village attorney.
