Nolan qualifies for state finals, LOHS cross country narrowly misses cut

Sophomore Andrew Nolan ran a personal best at the Algonac Regional meet last Saturday, which qualified him for the state meet this Saturday.

Andrew ran a time of 15:38, which was 31 seconds faster that his personal best and 1:27 faster than his best time last season.

Ryan Mulcahy, Justin Keppler, Nathan Hammond, Nolan Maupin and Drew Giem, also ran personal bests.

The team finished in 5th place out of the 17 schools competing, behind Romeo, Clarkston, Stoney Creek, and Oxford.

The top three teams qualified for the state meet. – S.C.
