LOHS volleyball goes on winning streak

Lake Orion High School’s girls volleyball team seems to have shaken their early season slum with five wins in the past week.

The ladies started off their winning streak on Sept. 22 with a big win at home against Seaholm 3-0. The Dragons were able to subdue the Maples in all three sets, keeping Seaholm under the 20-point mark in each.

On Sept. 24, the Dragons hosted the West Bloomfield High School for another conference game, defeating the Lakers 3-0. The ladies had quick wins in both the first and third set but had trouble putting it away in the second. Ultimately, Lake Orion went home with the win.

In a tournament on Sept. 26 the ladies dominated, defeating Utica Eisenhower, Flushing and West Bloomfield each 2-1.

Lake Orion is now 9-4 overall and 2-1 in the OAA Red division.

The Dragons take on OAA Red division leaders and rival Clarkston High School at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Clarkston after Review press time. — M.K.
