The next day, the boys hosted Marquette falling to the currently undefeated team 7-2. The Dragons kept pace in the first period with both teams scoring one goal but by the end of the second period Marquette had pulled ahead by four despite the Dragon effort.

Fornwall and Smith scored both goals for Lake Orion that night while Parraghi saved 25 of the 32 shots on goal.

On Nov. 27, the Dragons were on home ice again at DSC taking on Bloomfield Hills where Lake Orion was able to secure their first win of the season 3-1.
