Lawrence (Whitey) P. Hauxwell; of Oxford; age77; passed away December 5, 2016.  Larry is the loving husband of Brenda; father of Sherri (Randy) Greenwood; grandfather of Kristi, Kody and Kolton; great grandfather of Hunter, Lilli and Drake; and brother of Max Hauxwell, Jackie (Richard) Book, Gayle (Bruce) Thomas and the late Billy Hauxwell.  

Larry worked for the Oxford Leader for over 60 years.  He was a member of the Orion/Oxford Eagles and a Friend of the American Legion Post #108.  

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 12-5pm at the American Legion Post #108 (130 E. Drahner Rd.). There will be opportunities to speak between 12 and 1:30 p.m. followed by a meal at 2 p.m.
