The annual Orion Twp. Parks & Recreation Department’s Dragon Dash is Sunday and participants will be able to run or walk on the new 5K certified course beginning and ending at Wildwood.

The course follows the Polly Ann Trail north toward the Orion Center. All runners will receive an award after crossing the finish line. All levels of runners and walkers are invited, from beginner to competitive.

Check-in opens at 7:30 a.m. with the race starting at 9 a.m. The race starts and finishes at Wildwood Amphitheater, 2700 Joslyn Ct.

The cost is $14 for residents, $17 non-residents, for the race only. Student discount (under 18): $9 residents, $11 non-residents. Discount can be applied with in person or phone registration only.

Race shirts are $12 and there will be a limited number/size of shirt available on race day.

Race results will be computer scored and posted at www.orionparks.com. For anyone who wants their ace results in a hurry, they can Include email address with their registration and results will be promptly emailed.
