Boys cross country finish 10th at Holly Invitational

The boys cross country team headed to Springfield Oaks County Park to participate in the competitive Holly Invitational.

Out of the 24 teams participating, the Dragons finished 10th overall as a team.

Two-time all state runner Andrew Nolan had another great run finishing in 6th place finish, with a season best time of 15:55.

Also finishing well for Lake Orion was Will Houvener who finished second for the Dragons, followed closely by fellow sophomore Hong Bing Tang.

Freshman Luke Peardon, and sophomore Clayton Kuiper rounded out the scoring, finishing within 15 seconds of each other.

JV runners sophomore Andrew Jacques and freshman Jake Smith also ran great races and qualified for a spot on Varsity for next Saturday’s meet at Linden.

Freshman Horacio Lopez, Evan Fox and sophomore Ronnie Leonard also contributed to the JV win. — M.K.
