Baseball team’s record improves to 14-6

Lake Orion’s baseball team took on their school rival Clarkston for game one of their doubleheader on April 30.
The boys made quick work of it, defeating the Wolves 11-1. Lake Orion tallied 16 hits and no errors in the game.
Later that same day, the Dragons and the Wolves held the second game of their doubleheader. Lake Orion won again with a much closer final score of 2-1.
Brendan Britt and Josh Slayton ran in the only two Lake Orion runs of the game.
The boys met up with Clarkston again on May 2, falling to the Wolves for the first time this season 3-0.
On Saturday, Lake Orion headed to Plymouth High School for a doubleheader match up leaving with two wins 3-2 and 14-1.
The boys headed to Rochester Adams for another OAA North match on Monday.
The low scoring game consisted of very few hits leaving the Dragons with a 1-0 loss against the Highlanders.
The Dragons are now 14-7 overall and 5-3 in the OAA North. — M.K.
