Art Center’s ‘Celebrate Michigan’ re-create exhibit opens Thursday

Update: The Orion Art Center’s Re-Create Recycled Exhibit was canceled due to lack of submissions. The Art & Soul Dreams Exhibit will take place July 9 – August 2. 

The Orion Art Center’s Re-Create Recycled Exhibit, “Celebrate Michigan”, kicks off with an open house and artist reception from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Art Center.
The exhibit runs April 25 – May 24 at the Art Center, 115 S. Anderson St., and is open to the public from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday – Friday.
The Re-Create Recycled Exhibit is one of the Art Center’s most popular shows, featuring works by area artists fashioned from reused and recycled materials. The exhibit is a juried event and prizes will be awarded in four categories: youth, teen, adult best of theme and best use of recycled materials.
