Water use restricted

Due to the increased demand on the municipal water supply for lawn irrigation during warm weather, Orion Township has implemented a voluntary odd/even sprinkling restriction effective June-October.
Service customers with odd numbered addresses are asked to restrict their outdoor water usage to odd numbered calendar dates. Service customers with even numbered addresses are asked to restrict their outdoor usage to even numbered calendar dates.
It’s also requested that all non-essential water usage be restricted during the hours of 7-10 a.m. and 5-9 p.m.
This voluntary program will help to provide adequate water pressure for drinking, sanitary usage and fire fighting requirements.
