Grapplers rack up the wins

First, they beat up on Linden (47-21) and Lapeer East (48-19) in their first home meet of the season Jan. 30.
Then on Saturday, the grapplers dominated the Macomb-Oakland Challenge wrestling tournament at Clarkston High School.
The tournament pitted the top five teams from Oakland County against the top five schools from Macomb County in a dual meet format. The county with the most victories was the winner.
Oakland secured 23 victories while Macomb managed to squeak out two wins.
Oxford tallied a 5-0 record for the day beating Romeo 38-15, Chippewa Valley 40-18, Richmond 45-23, Utica Ford 62-7 and Anchor Bay 45-25.
